this reason a massive prophylactic research in above-mentioned region was
carried out. Etiological
and environmental factors and other
conditions were taken into account. The
results of the research have shown that 16.6% of population had chronic
cholecystitis, 1.5% - chronic hepatitis, 0.9% - hepatic cirrhosis and 30%
had chronic reactive hepatitis. Thus,
the present investigations made it possible to reveal early stages of
hepatobiliary system diseases, to improve prevention and efficiency of
treatment of chronic liver diseases.
