Key
words: Chronic periodontitis; gastroduodenal ulcerous diseases;
granulomatosis; granuloma Due
to the functional and structural integrity of gastroenteric tract, changes
in oral cavity often take place during the diseases of this system.
Subjective sensations are based on the changes in mucous membrane, salvation
failure and taste abnormality. In
18 pts out of the total number of the patients supervised no periodontitis
was revealed (Gr.1-4 pts, Gr.2 -14 pts). From the remaining 109 pts chronic
periodontitis was revealed in 80 cases, while acute form of the disease was
observed in 29 pts. The pts with chronic periodontitis had rather severe
forms of the disease (granulating periodontitis - n=46, granulomatous
periodontitis - n=22, acute chronic periodontitis - n=12). In
acute periodontitis 11 pts had severe form and 18 purulent form of the
disease. The
results of the study indicate that in gastroduodenal ulcerous disease
relatively severe forms of periodontitis, such as granulating and
granulomatous ones, are observed more frequently; and only joint approach of
stomatologists and gastroenterologists to the condition and combination
therapy could give positive results. Literature: 1.
