Complex Therapy with Osteogenesis Stimulating Agents and 
Plasma Therapy in Acute Periodontitis

Complete cure of periodontitis is the central problem of stomatology, in particular, and of medicine, in general.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of a new osteogenesis stimulating agent, and its combination with plasma therapy on acute periodontitis.

In periodontitis treatment, plasma therapy and channel feeling with osteogenesis stimulating agent were used together with conventional methods.

The patients were divided into 3 groups: Gr. 1 - 24 patients with cerotic periodontitis (n=13. 55%) and acute purulent periodontitis (n=11.45%). The channels were plumbed with Colapan paste - a osteogenesis stimulating agent, that contains sterilized hydroxylation collagen and antibiotics.

Plasma stream therapy stimulates immune system; has strong antimicrobal, antigingivital and analgetic effect; causes vessel
delatation, thus, improving tissue feeding; activates vitamin synthesis and accelerates regeneration
