It is advisable to define all present popliteal cysts as cysts above popliteal fascia and underfascia Baker’s cysts.
Underfascial cysts with largeness 40-60 × 50-70 mm and more cause compression of vessels and nerves, that becomes apparent by Intermittent claudication symptom, edema of shin, pain in sural muscles and area of knee joint. For opportune exception of vascular complications the treatment of popliteal cysts should consist of modern actions of rheumatologist and vascular surgeon.
