Neurogastroenterology – new integral discipline

The authors described interaction of neurologic and gastrointestinal diseases. In this article were revieved gastrointestinal complications of neurologic diseases, esp. stroke, meningitis, encephalities, brain tumors, peripherial polyneuropathy, lateral amyotropic sclerosis, disseminated sclerosis, myasthenia, dysavtonomic visceral neuropathy.
Neurologic complications of Crohn;s, Wipple’s disaeses, Reye’s syndrome,hepatic encephalopathy, hepatites and liver cirrhosis, acute and chronic pancreatites, Cystic fibrosis also were described.
