Dear Prof. N. Kipshidze

The Ministry of Health and Social Defense, the Georgian Medical Society, and I personally would like to congratulate you on the anniversary of your prominent life and work. You are truly a great representative of the Georgian Therapeutic School and a worthy successor of such coryphaeus of national medicine as Spiridon Virsaladze, Alexander Aladashvili, Michael Tsinamdzgvrishvili, Shalva Mikeladze, and Nicolas Kipshidze. They founded the traditions of clinical research, diagnostics and treatment, as well as the educational and practicing system for therapists. Their example inspired you - the future scientist, doctor, teacher, and public figure.
We appreciate your great contribution to the international recognition of Georgian therapeutic science.
The civilized world considers the Georgian therapeutic school - with you at the head of it - to be an innovator of progressive ideas in medical science. This shows your outstanding scientific potential.
Our deepest respect goes out to you and we wish you good health and great achievements for the welfare of our country, people, and national medical service.

Yours truly,
Amiran Gamkrelidze
