On December 4, 2003 in the office of the pharmaceutical
firm GPC the round table under the title: “Issues of New Approaches in
Pathogenic Therapy of Atherosclerosis” was organized under the aegis of
the Cardiologic Center. The leading specialists of clinics of Tbilisi
participated in it. The issues covered: assessment of dysfunction grade
of endothelium in the process of atherosclerosis, its correction, study
of lipid oxidation intensity level, correction and efficiency of means
of anti-Chlamydia therapy. Presentation of a book ”Not established risk
factors of atherosclerosis and new prospects of pathogenic therapy” by
G.Chapidze, S.Kapanadze and G. Samadashvili passed successfully. The
monograph deals with the modern approach to the problems of
atherosclerosis and the establishing of the new orientates in these
issues. |
