On December 19, 2003 the 2nd Cardiology Congress on
Modern Aspects of Childhood Cardiology was held under the aegis of
Georgian Childhood Cardiologists Association. The Congress evliqhtened
modern aspects of childhood cardiology.
The organizers of the Congress were: Georgian Childhood (Pediatric)
Cardiologists Association, Georgian International Cardiomyopathy
Society, G. Zhvania Pediatric Clinic of the State Medical University,
Pediatric Social Defence Foundation, Georgian Republican Pediatric (Jo
Ann) Center of Cardio-Surgery. The session was opened by Prof. Giorgi
Chakhunashvili, with his presentation “Pediatric Cardiology in Georgia
in the 21st Century”.
The resolution on “Atherosclerosis and CHD” was adopted by the Congress
participants. All paragraphs and postulates of the Resolution were
closely studied. The Program will be supervised by the Georgian
Childhood Cardiologists Association, Pediatric Social Defense Foundation
and of Georgian Physicians Association. |
