Present-day aspects of identification and prevention

 The paper deals with historical aspects of sudden cardiac death and statistics of its distribution. An original instruction is given intended for the primary level of public health care service, which contains differential criterion of identification of different kinds of sudden death, as well as instructions for its statistical registration.

Finally main trends of its prevention and practical recommendations are considered.
