The objective of this publication is to determine the accuracy and necessity of echocardiographic evaluation of LV systolic function, interventricular septum kinetique and right and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter for cardiac screening of young multipartum and late pregnant woumen for detecting the cardiomyopathy of peripartum (ischemic or Meadows cardiomyopathy).
